ClearPod validated for single chamber septic system upgrade

Problem:
Our on-site partners at ESSE identified a client looking to install a preventative upgrade and extend the lifetime of their existing septic system.
ClearPod Solution:
ClearPod was placed into the single chamber septic system (800 gallon tank) with an effluent filter. The system was installed in June 2014 and received annual maintenance check-up to ensure it is operational.

Performance – Recent wastewater sampling from this test site has indicated effluent from the septic tank of 8.8 mg/L cBOD and 7 mg/L TSS. This results indicate an approximate removal rate of BOD / TSS of 90 – 95% and significantly reduced load to the subsequent leach field. This reduced loading to the leach field will significantly improve hydraulic flow and extend the life time of the system.
Upgrade Opportunity – This clearly demonstrates the benefit of a standard septic system upgrade and the improved effluent that can be attained from an upgraded system.
Cost Benefit – The reduced loading to the leach field should eliminate the chance for leach field failure and costly repair or replacement.
